When the workshop house deck was built in 2004, pressure treated wood contained arsenic. In order to avoid contaminating the soil / well water, wood and composite decking was used and is now disintegrating.
The deck provides wheelchair access to the workshop house , is central to wool washing and felting projects and hosts outdoor seating for gatherings and community meals.
It is central to our work and the primary focus of buildings n grounds projects.
