When the workshop house deck was built in 2004, pressure treated wood contained arsenic. In order to avoid contaminating the soil / well water, wood and composite decking was used and is now disintegrating.
The deck provides wheelchair access to the workshop house, is central to wool washing and felting projects and hosts outdoor seating for gatherings and community meals.
It is central to our work and the primary focus of buildings n grounds projects.
